Regional Forums: Part 2

A chairde,
Belfast and Ulster’s Regional Forum is done and dusted - this week we turn to Dublin and Leinster.
The series of regional forums include reflections on branch/regional activity, a celebration of wins secured to date, planning for the year ahead and Ard Fheis training, to equip branches with the tools they need to submit motions for consideration at September’s Ard Fheis.
There will also be a meeting for volunteers interested in helping out with planning and preparation for the Ard Fheis itself. The first of these meetings will take place on Tuesday, July 2nd at 18:00 (rescheduled from the previously advertised date of June 26th). You can join this session via THIS LINK.
As for the Regional Forums, session #2 takes place tomorrow, for Dublin and the wider Leinster region.

Where? The Teacher’s Club, 36 Parnell Sq. West, Dublin 1
When? Saturday - 12:00 - 16:00
You can register for attendance HERE.

Landlord Research Training! 🕵♀🔎
Over the past 6 months, CATU’s eviction database working group has been collecting information about illegal evictions and those responsible for carrying them out. We've found records of c.330 illegal evictions since 2015. The project is now aiming to collect more info and build profiles of illegal evictors for an online database.
Next Thursday, June 27th, there will be a landlord research training in collaboration with the Liberties-Rialto branch on how we can do this, using a range of different online tools. This will be useful for anyone who wants to get involved in the eviction database project or use their skills in other settings.
The training will start at 18:00 in St Andrew’s Community Centre, 468 South Circular Road, Dublin 8. Come along and get snooping!
