There will be an online national campaigns meeting open to all members taking place on Saturday, October 26th at 12:00. At the meeting we’ll have a debrief of last year’s national campaigns, hear from individual members about the work they’ve been doing with their branches, and discuss what’s next for national campaigns.

We’ll also be voting for reps for the new national campaigns steering committee as proposed in the motion that passed at our last AGM – we are looking for 2 reps from each province for a total of 8 reps. The committee will provide oversight, coordination, direction and accountability for the ongoing national campaigns, and reps will receive training through the Organizing for Power skills-based training online workshop early next year. This is a great opportunity to get more involved in organising, gain experience and connect with local branches in your province and around the island!

A part of the ongoing eviction database project, we're looking for someone to do some graphic design work, designing and laying out a report from the project. There is a budget in place for design and print so this would be a paid opportunity. If you have some design experience and would be interested in this project, drop me an email and we’ll link you in with the project team.
