Join CATU D7 West for their final branch meeting of the year tomorrow (Tuesday) at 19:00 in Third Space, Smithfield.

If you can’t make it in person, it’ll also be possible to join remotely from HERE.

The latest in our series of Rent Strike documentary screenings hits the Sean O’Casey community centre in East Wall this Wednesday at 18:00.

The Rent Strike is the first and only documentary covering the successful Irish housing movement of the 1970s and features RTÉ archive footage and interviews with surviving rent strikers and their families.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with one of the original rent strikers, Paddy Trehy, and filmmaker, Azzy O'Connor.

Rent Strike Screening - East Wall

If you’ve already had the pleasure of catching a Rent Strike screening, you also have the option of joining CATU Liberties-Rialto for a cozy Winter social on Wednesday evening.

All members, well-wishers, mischief-makers and sounders are welcome to join them in John Fallon’s Bar, 129 The Coombe, D08 NP52, from 18:30.

CATU Louth are wrapping up a successful year by running a Gig for Fair Housing fundraising event on December 22nd in the Spirit Store in Dundalk, with an incredible lineup. Tickets are €15 and can be purchased HERE.

We’ll have a merch table on the night as well!
