Hustings Announcement - Save the Date(s)

A chairde,

As we move rapidly towards this year’s Ard Fheis, the next important milestone is our hustings series. Taking place across three evenings - August 14th, 19th and 20th - these sessions allow members to review, discuss and debate the motions which branches have submitted for consideration at the Ard Fheis itself (for which formal invites will be issued very soon!).

This year, 18 motions were received across 3 categories.

Hustings Session #1, on Wednesday, August 14th will look at 6 motions in the category of Union Admin.

Hustings Session #2, on Monday, August 19th will look at 3 motions in the Policy category and 3 motions related to Campaigns.

Lastly, Hustings Session #3, on Tuesday, August 20th, will be focused on Restructuring (5 motions) and Education (1 motion).

Each session will commence at 18:30 and will take place on Zoom. Links are included below:

Zoom link for Session 1 - Aug 14th, 18:30
Zoom link for Session 2 - Aug 19th, 18:30
Zoom link for Session 3 - Aug 20th, 18:30

Please do try and make it along to some or all of the sessions if you can - they’re an essential part of the union’s democratic process. If you have any questions, please drop me a line.

Lastly, the full list of motions can be found below. Between now and the hustings, some amendments may take place as well as potentially a couple of merges. As a result, the full motion texts will not be available to review until the hustings sessions.
